From Chaos to Change: The Beginning of Rise Up

The Full Story

Rise Up was born from one man's deep concern for his city and an unwavering commitment to saving lives. After completing his studies and working in cities like Delhi and Bangalore, Rishabh Anand returned to his hometown, Ranchi. What should have been a joyful homecoming turned into a moment of reckoning. The city’s streets were choked with traffic chaos, negligent driving, and a rising number of road accidents — many of them fatal.

Rishabh was deeply disturbed. He couldn’t ignore the pain behind every accident — the lives lost, the families broken. He made a silent promise to himself: not a single life should be lost unnecessarily on our roads.

That promise became the foundation of Rise Up — an initiative focused on road safety, public education, and systematic reform in traffic management.

Since then, Rise Up has taken action through:

1. Community workshops on road safety and first aid

2. School programs to educate children on traffic rules

3. Driver awareness and behavior change campaigns

4. Collaborations with traffic police and civic bodies

5. Advocacy for better infrastructure and policy change
    

What began as Rishabh’s personal mission is now a growing movement — driven by the belief that every life is precious, and every accident is preventable.
