‘Catch Them Young’: This Jharkhand Play School Is Instilling Road Safety Lessons To Children

Rise Up, an NGO in Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been running a unique initiative called 'Cartoon Play School' since 2016. This playschool imparts traffic and road safety lessons to children at a very young age. Alongside learning alphabets and numerals, kids receive their first lessons on road safety, including stopping at red lights, wearing seatbelts and helmets. The school features a traffic park with simulated roads, traffic signals, and signs to give students a real-world feel of road safety.
